the quotidian (7.12.21)

Quotidian: daily, usual or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace

Homemade cheese for the saag.

Leftovers, with cucumber mint raita.

The kids were begging for sourdough pan loaves, so I obliged.

Three people, three lunches.

I threw my lunch in the dish sanitizer!

The cook kindly made me a redo. (Thank you, Sam!)

Not all my work lunches are fancy. (But they’re always declicious.)

Lots of reading, lots of melon.

Houston, we have a problem.

Clean play.

My favorite cool-down hack. What’s yours?

This same time, years previous: movement, all things Thursday, putting up walls, roasted feta with honey, the quotidian (7.11.16), a tale, er, tail, what my refrigerator told me, roasted carrot and beet salad with avocado, tempero.

    Your dish drainer has an actual *DRAIN*!!! That is brilliant.

    Most common cool-down hack: damp washcloth to the pulse points (esp. wrists, inner elbows, and neck). Second most common: spritz bottle. We also did swamp cooler stuff when we lived in a place with no AC…
