the quotidian (9.30.24)

Quotidian: daily, usual or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace

Don’t be like me and forget to line the pan with foil.

An unwatched pot will boil over.

My mama made me a cake.

My husband named it “La Buena” for a reason.

To pierce my blues.

What is this and what am I using it for?

Fiona, boxed.

Porch pretty.

Birthday math.

Be still my heart.

Couch cuddles.

This same time, years previous: wanna place bets?, wedding buns, church, the quotidian (9.30.19), hey-hey, look who’s here!, you’re invited, welcome home to the circus, the myth of the hungry teen, chocolate birthday cake.

    Now remember a few years ago, when you were looking for suggestions for a new stove, and I DID mention the absolute pleasure of cleaning up a horrible milk spill or spill from when trying to boil down maple syrup and you have a electric smooth-top stove? I was horrified at all you people that LOVE those gas stoves with the deep burners that look like they just like to absorb milky, syrupy messes after a boil-over event!
    Loved the picture of your young kids!
    Happy Birthday!

    (feedly is failing me again; I assume that’s a ‘them’ problem and not fixable, but if there is a small traffic dip, that may be the cause; I haven’t gotten your last three posts, harrumph!)
