The new vacuum sealer arrived.
Another Wednesday, another lunch for the CCU.
I went to The Pie Chest to stage and, instead of working, ended up visiting with the owner, aka my new best bud, for hours, and then she sent me home with lots of treats.
When work leftovers include pulled pork and pastry dough, pot pies are what’s for supper.
Not in the dish pit anymore.
Thumb wrestling at small group. She won.
Just a dog, casually lounging with one elbow on the door sill.
We’ve got t-shirts!
This same time, years previous: three things, kitchen notes, practical and beautiful, the quotidian (10.17.16), the adjustment, grab and go: help wanted, that thing we do, pepperoni rolls.
Are you going to start selling cheese? We would buy some
So flattered! I’m not actually making enough to sell — just for family consumption…and to share with friends and small group (wink-wink).
You look like a rock star!
You do look mahvelous! I love the attitude and the outfit. I don’t know what type of vacuum sealer that you had previously, but how does the new one compare?
The old one was really old (Foodsaver brand, 1075), and the new one is a Hamilton Beach 78220. While it’s not one of the fancy ones, it wasn’t cheap, either ($120) — kind of the upper end of the lower cost ones. I only use it for cheese, and so far it’s been amazing.
You wook mahvelus, darlink!
