If I had my druthers, I’d eat one every day.

What my living room looks like when the cool weather hits.
Serious work: friendship bracelets in the making.

This same time, years previous: thousand island slaw with roast chicken, hurdle-free molten brownie cakes, we love Fred, vacationing till it hurts, whaddaya think?, and one hot chica.
I am amazed by all the creative ways your kids play 🙂 As for the lice… I have tried lots of different methods but olive oil in the hair over night and then picking the next day was by far the most effective, and cost effective
Love the blog !
Ditto the mechanical removal. Works way better than anything chemical or organic that I've tried. (and we tried a few…)
Oh, jeez. What a pain. I worked in a household with 2 nannies and 3 little girls and we all had long hair AND head lice. We lined up like monkeys and nit picked. Mechanical removal worked better than any product we had available. Thank goodness for I Love Lucy.
Cetaphil cleanser – I swear to you, it works very well. Also, Beehive and Birdsnest raves about it, about halfway down in this post. You need a hair dryer.
But where would she have picked it up?
Thank you so much for posting about the cetaphil cleanser. I bookmarked the post thinking with 4 kids I will need it eventually. Well tonight was eventually and it has worked wonders. Thank you, thank you!
is that a hamburger in the first photo? It looks divine.
The last photo – I'm worried: what is wrong?
Yes, and lice.
