I would think so. It would provide lots of good conversation opportunities along the same lines as Mockingbird. It is from the adult voice, but your well read kiddos wouldn't mind that I am sure.
For me it was one of those put is down, walk away for a minute, reread the last paragraph several times, take a break and grab the tissues kind of book. I wonder too for curiosity sake if being a born and raised Southerner affects how I feel about the book. After reading it I wish I could meet her and ask a thousand questions. Knowing that Watchman was written first I have all sorts of theories as to why Mockingbird came out of it to be published instead. I could go on and on. After you read it I vote for a post and discussion!

I haven't read it yet, but I want to! Is it something the kids would enjoy listening to? Mockingbird is one of my favorite read-alouds.
