My second flop in a row: can I no longer make a decent chocolate cake???
My younger daughter’s latest creation: every time we go to Costco, she lurks at the edge of the bakery like a lost puppy, watching the cake decorators (and hoping they’ll toss her a treat).
Post-rehearsal: late-afternoon “lunch” in the sun.
Running lines while rocking lambie.
Fly season: it’s disgusting.
Putting in fence for the second pasture: she says she wants a steer.
Jacob Marley! Come to life! In our field!
Frolicking till the sun sets.
This same time, years previous: the Tuesday boost, seven-minute egg, maple pecan scones, our oaf, the visit, the quotidian (3.26.12), a spat, breaking the habit, smokey fried chickpeas, happy birthday, happy pappy!, and brandied bacony roast chicken.
amazing life.. 🙂
What a beutiful "Cuddles" photo! Find a magazine to submit that one to!
I think your daughter's cake decorating skills are AMAZING!
I have never had this chocolate cake recipe fail but I also don't think it is the best recipe out there. Hershey's One Bowl Chocolate Cake- https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=568556
Find a Nice roan Shorthorn!
Why that kind? Say more!
The American Shorthorn Association should have good information. They are a quiet breed and excellent for junior activities and I think maybe less expensive to buy than anything Angus. Is this a potential 4-H project? The roan hair is wonderful to groom and so pretty. They fatten well and easy to feed. Here are some basic links.
